MEDICATION DETAILS
All specific medication must be placed in a small plastic bag (snap lock is ideal) with your child’s name, dosage and frequency clearly marked. You should have had your doctor complete the Student Medical Doctors Consent Form which had been sent out with this form. It should be given to the child’s classroom teacher no later than the day before camp. Any parents, who need to provide instructions or individual information in regards to their child’s medication, should contact the class teacher prior to the departure day. Asthma puffers should remain with your child at all times. Panadol will be supplied by the school in liquid form and, if you have returned the Panadol Only consent form, can be administered to your child, if needed, by a staff member.
If your child is taking medication regularly or as the result of allergies etc. their medications should to be bought to school and given to myself tomorrow morning. It is preferred that the medication is stored in a ziplock bag, clearly marked with their name and class on the outside as well as details of the dosage inside the bag, once again with their name and class. Any medications left over will be returned on Friday. Ventolin puffers can be sent with your child in their day backpack and they can take that on the bus with them.
Students should be at school at 7:30am for roll marking in the shed. Once all students are marked off we will board the bus and depart. The buses will leave at 8am.
If your child is unable to attend camp please ring the office before 8am. Travel time is one hour. We will be returning to school by 2:30pm on the Friday and you can collect your child from the bus zone at the front of the school. If you are unable to be thereat 2:30pm any students not collected will be taken to the drive through pick up. If you need your child to attend after school care please advise me so that we can drop them off at 3pm. Please make sure you inform me that you have taken your child so I can mark him/her as collected on the roll.
Looking at the weather forecast we might be getting some rain at some stage. Please ensure that your child packs a raincoat or poncho as umbrellas are not suitable for activities if it is wet.
I hope that your child is looking forward to camp and be assured that their safety and happiness are at the top of my list.
